Wharepuni are similar to my house because they are both made of wood and another similarity is they both have a window and door in similar positions to my house. Two differences would be, my house is higher off the ground and I don't have carvings.
You have listed some important similarities and difference. Great work! Have you thought about using a Google Slide to present your learning? It might be a fun way to post your learning to your blogs and you could even add some drawings and pictures!
We have read about the kauta where people cooked, pataka where they stored goods and wharepuni where the Māori slept. I'd love to know more about other Maori buildings. Are you able to go and find some information about some other Maori buildings and what they are used for?
Kia ora Nathan,
